Near-field communication (NFC) business cards allow you to easily exchange contact details with a simple tap. They consist of two main parts: a digital business card and an embedded NFC tag.
NFC tags are available in various formats such as stickers, pop sockets, keychains, and physical cards. These tags incorporate small microchips that, when tapped against another smartphone, automatically display paired information, such as a link to your business card.
Once you’ve linked your digital business card with your NFC tag, you’re ready to start sharing. If you’re using a tag like a sticker or pop socket, simply attach it to your phone. For other accessories, ensure you have them readily available for sharing.
When you’re ready to share your NFC business card, take your phone (or another NFC accessory) and tap it against the other person’s smartphone. Your DMI business card will appear instantly on their screen.
